Italian hand gestures explained (video)


When it comes to speaking with their hands, the Italians are masters. Many gestures are just meant to emphasize normal conversations. Some others belong to the category of Parolacce (bad words). This video summarizes some of the most popular hand gestures that you may happen to witness in your next trip to Italy.

Discovery Atlas: Italy Revealed

Discovery channel will air on Oct. 8th (9pm and 1am) a great documentary about Italy. Here is the description from their site: "Throughout one Italian year, the program tells the stories of unique characters, and will display Italian life within the natural cycle of the seasons. While taking this journey, watch the individual storylines unravel the lives of ordinary Italians."
This should be a good one to view in High Definition...
