I'm so happy I stumbled upon your blog.
I've always wanted to go to Italy and am planning a lone backpacking trip there next March/April.
What strikes me most about Italy is its rich sceneries, architecture and history.
Of course, the food is a great lure, too. A good thing Italian food is available in Singapore and I must have my pasta fix two or three times a week (sometimes I whip them up myself).
I originally plan to start with Milan (for fashion), followed by Venice (for romanticism), Florence (scenery) and Rome (for history). Now, I'm thinking I should go to Naples, too.
Are there any things I should look out for? I'm planning to shuttle by train and stay in hostels. I also want to experience more of Italian everyday life, and not just the main tourist attractions.
Please advise. Grazie.
